NEW Alpine A390 (2025) Ice and Snow Test Before the Reveal

The Alpine A390, the brand’s first 100% electric sport fastback, is undergoing extreme cold testing in Lapland, Sweden, before its official reveal on May 27, 2025. This high-performance 5-seater sports car blends cutting-edge Alpine engineering with exhilarating driving dynamics, ensuring agility, power, and precision even in the harshest conditions. With temperatures plummeting to -40°C, the A390 is pushed to its limits to validate its 3-motor drive system, Alpine Active Torque Vectoring, and new Track Mode, setting new standards in electric performance. The Alpine A390 prototype is designed to deliver the thrill of an A110 in a practical 5-seater format. Its dynamic capabilities are honed on frozen lakes and icy tracks, where Electronic Stability Control (ESC), heating, and aerodynamics are refined for ultimate precision. This next-gen electric sports car features an exclusive light signature, aggressive aerodynamics, and a race-inspired Nappa leather steering wheel with OV (Overtake) and RCH (Recharge) functions, inspired by Alpine Formula 1 technology. A true French automotive masterpiece, the Alpine A390 is built in Dieppe, with its high-performance electric motors produced in Cléon. It will feature a Devialet premium audio system and specially engineered Michelin tires. With track-ready acceleration and precise handling, this prototype confirms Alpine’s commitment to electrified performance, staying true to its DNA of lightness, agility, and pure driving pleasure.
