Volkswagen of America announced the production of the one millionth Atlas family SUV at its Chattanooga assembly plant, a proud milestone for the brand’s U.S. operations, driven by strong demand from American families. Since start of production in 2016, Atlas has become a cornerstone of Volkswagen’s U.S. portfolio. Together with Atlas Cross Sport, in production since 2019, it has defined the brand’s strategy in one of the world’s most competitive SUV markets.
